Sales are great, right? Everyone loves a deal!
What’s not great is something going on sale for cheaper shortly after you buy it.
We want to be as clear as possible on how and when Collected Transients Libraries go on sale. To state simply, there are only a few times Collected Transients sound effects libraries are discounted:
- Initial Release – When a library is first released, it will have an “Early Bird” discount.
- Early Bird Discounts are 30% off.
- Early Bird Discounts last up to 2 weeks.
- Black Friday/Cyber Week – Libraries may or may not go on sale around Black Friday/Cyber Week.
- Black Friday/Cyber Week Discounts are up to 30% off.
- Black Friday/Cyber Week Discounts last up to 2 weeks.
- Black Friday/Cyber Week Discounted library selection may vary.
- Special Occasions – In very rare instances (say a decade year anniversary) a sale may occur.
- Special Occasion Discounts are up to 30% off.
- Special Occasion Discounts last up to 2 weeks.
No library discount will ever be greater than it’s original 30% “Early Bird” discount.
We hope this makes it clear when you can expect Collected Transients libraries to be discounted. The easiest way to stay on top of new releases for an “Early Bird” discount is to subscribe to our Mailing List. If you miss that and still want a sale price, try back around Black Friday!
Sales Grace Period
If you buy a Collected Transients library and it goes on sale within 7 days of your purchase, you may request a credit for the price difference. This credit will be provided as a non-expiring coupon code that can be applied to any purchase from Collected Transients.
Pricing Changes
We price our libraries very fairly and generally do not raise prices. However, we cannot rule out the possibility of increasing the full price of a library after it’s release. This would only happen if the cost of hosting & providing a library became unsustainable with it’s pricing/sales or the market as a whole. The full cost of a library will never go down from it’s original release price.
